A Full and Complete Freedom

Black folks in America claim to be free.  We are not in physical bondage, slavery in America any longer.  But are we really free?  Do we have a full and complete freedom?  Nina Simone did a song entitled, “I wish I knew what it is like to be free.”  She did not know what it meant to be free.  I want to get to the point, and that is if we as a people or any people are saddled with disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure, stroke, heart attack, cancer, kidney, liver and other issues, etc., then we are not free!

A full and complete freedom would include being from this disease.  I think so, what about you?

Let me ask you this, how are we going to free ourselves from disease?  Oh, or we waiting on someone to free us from disease?  Do we want to be free, then we must take the first step toward our freedom!  Not only that, but we must also put down those “things” that are keeping you and I in shackles.  What’s keeping us diseased?  Let’s start with the obvious drugs.  How does drugs improve our health?  Next, alcohol, drinking these so-call spirits.  Next, smoking cigarettes, cigars, vape, etc. Then the not so obvious, eating meat.  Especially, the forbidden hog, pig, swine, pork you know what I’m talking about!

Now just reflect on all of money we spend on the above items that hurt us instead of help us!

I saw a clip the other day that said McDonald’s produces 6.5 million hamburgers a day.  Then it asked the question, where are the cows that produce the meat for these 6.5 million burgers a day?  The woman used to say, “where is the beef?”  All the other meat we consume is suspect as well, including the fish.  The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad has a chapter in his book, How to Eat to Live, entitled “Meat is against life!”  To exercise a full and complete freedom means taking it upon ourselves to do for self and produce our own food!  I know, you say that’s too complicated.  I understand, this is why the white man calls us “boy.”  Because we refuse to take a “free step.”  We refuse to do something for ourselves and the diseases we have is the consequences of not doing anything for self!  We must get back to nature.  But to get back to nature, we cannot rely on the white man.  We must get back to our nature.  We must exercise the freedom to produce our own food and eliminate disease for good.
